ABSTRACT ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF HONG KONG'S DENSE SKYSCRAPERS BY MICHAEL WOLF

Munich born award winning photographer Michael Wolf has captured pictures showing skyscrapers spread all across the frame. Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated cities with high rises fighting for space on the ground and the sky. In his photo series titled  'Architecture of Density' Michael Wolf photographs the dense skyscrapers of Hong Kong without any background or skyline making them look almost abstract. These photographs apart from being pure visual pleasure to look at also forces us to think about human overpopulation.

MIND BENDING OPTICAL ILLUSION PAINTINGS BY ROB GONSALVES

Canadian artist Rob Gonsalves is a master of illusion. There are very few painters who have such a thorough grasp of perspective. Drawing inspiration from Dali and Escher he began creating master pieces in Magic realism at a young age. Just looking at the paintings makes you realize the complexity of the artwork and the amount of precision required to create works like these. Rob's surreal paintings transports the viewer into a magical world where things are just slippery and confusing. Rob's training as an architect seems to have helped him manage the challenging implementation of perspective in these paintings. His paintings are about the human desire to believe in the impossible.
