The cities of Vietnam has become a concrete jungle with green cover reducing to an all time low levels, cities like Ho Chi Minh has less than 0.25% green cover. To solve the issue of pollution and lack of trees in urban area Vo Trong Nghia Architects have come up with affordable buildings on top of which big trees could be planted. If found wide spread acceptance then a significant part of city could be bought back under green cover. This architecture known as "house for trees" is basically a big pot with provision of storm water draining. This house is located in Tan Binh district one of the most densely populated region of Ho Chi Minh.
