ENORMOUS 200 METER RAISED EARTH HORSE SCULPTURE BY MICK PETTS

This mindblowing sculpture created by Mick Petts is situated in South Wales and covers an area of 200 meters, Its the largest raised earth sculpture in UK. The sculpture is created at Penallta in the vicinity of a former coal mine. 
The sculpture is made from stone, earth and 60,000 tonnes of coal shale. The sculpture named Sultan the PitPony is made in remembrance of a well loved horse named sultan who used to work in the underground coal mines until the mid 20th century.
