PORTRAITS CREATED USING FILM NEGATIVES BY NICK GENTRY

London based artist Nick Gentry uses old film negatives to create portraits. Cut films are glued over glass panels before Nick paints over them with oil paint or resin. The artist makes commentary regarding consumerism, technology and identity with his artworks. He is mostly known for using outdated technological products like floppies and film negatives in his work. Nick Gentry's work has been exhibited in galleries across the world.
