We have seen many body paintings that strive to look real, but what Alexa does is something incredible different, she paints real human figures to make them look like 2D paintings and sketches. The body paintings seamlessly merge with the painted background or with real world scenes creating an effect thats radically different from what you will ever see. Los Angeles based self taught artist Alexa Meade's work is a mixture of body painting, painting, live performance and photography all merged into one.
